Matthew Miller AW14

This was my 5th season Designing the makeup and working with the very talented British designer Matthew Miller, its a joy to work with Matthew the atmosphere backstage is always very clam and laid back.

This season the makeup was kept clean fresh and flawless, we wanted the boys & girls ;p to look perfect but not over made up.

The look is mostly focused around skin care we used dermalogica men's line aided with a little face massage to wake up the skin and increase circulation, OCC skin tints were then buffed in to the skin to perfect the completion  and a little concealer was added where needed.

Massive thanks to AOFM pro and the AOFM pro team

Xander Zhou AW14

Wow what a whirlwind 2014 has been, feel like I have not stopped :)

Im very thankful and blessed that I get to create such beautiful makeup for such talented and creative designers and work with such amazing teams.....

over the past three months I have had the pleasure to design makeup for 17 shows in London, New York, Milan, and Berlin

1st stop was my hometown london for mens collections  , I really love London for mens fashion and love getting to hang out with my wonderful creative friends backstage at shows :)

It was my 3rd season working with Xander Zhou and every season just gets better and better, Ceremonial sashes, scarves, military medals, texture colour and culture made one impactful catwalk show :)

The makeup that I designed for the show was very clean and fresh almost wet looking a lot of emphasis was put on skin prep, we were using one of my fav serums Shu Uemura youthful radiance on the high points teamed with a light buff of OCC skin tints and concealer
where needed, to finish the look we added Lucas Paw Paw down the nose, cheek bones and forehead to add extra shine to the skin, we only powdered under the eye and left the skin with the desired wet look. FLAWLESS

take a look at the catwalk show and some fun photos below :) xx

Baartmans & Siegel S/S '14

1st Show of day 3 and again it was an early start today was the day that I had 4 shows so it meant a lot of running around and a lot of london taxi's argh!!!!

The theme for the show was South Pacific Aviation, with make up references taken from The Talented Mr Ripley. The faces were kept clean, fresh and healthy looking. The skin was slightly bronzed, with well moisturised lips which we added a hint of pink lipstick to, groomed brows and lashes, and nude liner in the waterline with highlight in the inner corner of the eye to open up the eyes.

The presentation took place amongst potted plants, while the models wore raw silk, summer shorts and knits - it looked great was a fab start to our day!

The makeup for the show was clean and fresh skin using the BBU pallet with a tiny bit of bronzer on the cheeks to give a bronzed feel we curled the lashes and added a little clear mascara and to finish the look we added little white shadow in the inner corner of the eye.

YMC SS14

Up Bright an early and on to the 2nd day of Mens Collections today I was back at the old sorting office heading the team for the YMC show.....

The makeup for this show was clean and fresh, We were using OCC skin tint backstage very lightweight foundation perfect for this minimal look.

This Spring Summer, the YMC collection utilises the brand’s signature blend of relaxed tailoring with an unmistakably playful edge. A minimal silhouette is offset by electrifying prints; combining the classic with the utterly modern – redefining the use of colour, print and texture as a tenet of the modern, masculine aesthetic.
